Open Access to research has become a requirement for many Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as a result of funder and institutional policies. Advocacy is very important to ensure that open access is embedded into the research cycle. In this presentation the contextual landscape at two different HEIs will be examined and practical strategies for increasing open access awareness and engagement will be shared.
