2. INTRODUCTION
Quantitative analysis is data that can be counted or measured in numerical
values. The two main types of quantitative data are descriptive Statistics
and inferential Statistics.
● Descriptive statistics focuses on describing the contents of the
sample.
● Inferential statistics aims to make predictions about the population.

3. APPLICATIONS
It is generally used for three purposes
● It’s used to measure differences between groups.
● It is used to assess relationships between variables.
● It’s used to test hypothesis in a scientifically way.

4. TYPES OF DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS
● Mean: The arithmetic mean is found by adding the numbers and dividing the sum
by the number of numbers in the list.
● Median: The median is the middle value in a list ordered from smallest to largest.
● Mode: The mode is the most frequently occurring value on the list.
● Standard deviation: In statistics, the standard deviation is a measure of the
amount of variation a set of values.
TYPES OF INFERENTIAL STATISTICS
● T-test: Compare the means, averages of two groups of data weather they are
statistically different or not.
● ANOVA: ANOVA allows you to analyze multiple groups not just two it’s basically
a t-test but on steroids.
