the 18th century

3. As we can see, fashion in the 18th century was very overloaded with so
many fabrics and beads. This way to dress is known as Rococó style. In
addition to the heavy dress the women normally dressed a tight bodice. It
hardly allowed to breathe to the unfortunate woman that wore it. The men
wore lighter clothes than women. They used to wear a tailored coat over a
waistcoat, breeches and large socks over these.

5. Actually the clothes are more useful. We can find different people or urban tribes with very different
styles. Nowadays there are a lot of fabrics to design clothes and the fashion is a matter of personal
preference.
The women can wear trousers or skirt, it wasn’t well looked not long ago, and they usually wear
more colour clothes than men. I think that men are more simple, and we dressed with the first thing
that we take.
I could emphasise maybe shorter clothes than 18th century, that It allows to see more than the past
clothes. Today the fashion is daring and colour, but above all else, the fashion allows us to be free to
decide our style of dress.

6. If we compare the fashion of the 18th century with the actual, we can see as different these
are.
I think that it is obvious but 18th century fashion is older than actual. Because of this the
actual fashion is more permissive than the older one, actually we can choose any garment to
wear. In the 18th century the fashion was imposed and the people had little choice. On the
other hand the actual fashion is more colour than the 18th century style. As I have said before,
the actual clothes are shorter than the clothes of the past. Finally, I can say that the 18th
century fashion was more overloaded than the actual fashion.
In conclusion, we can say that the actual fashion is fresher than the old fashion.
