• Recruit new donors and encourage frequency
4. VOLUNTEER CONTRIBUTIONS
• Build relationships with local city officials
• Contact locally owned restaurants and businesses for blood drive
leads
• Participate in scheduled community events on behalf of Carter
BloodCare
• Assist donors in canteen areas
• Host sign-up tables at marketing events or mobile drives
• Assist with office projects at headquarters
• Attend quarterly regional volunteer meetings
• Coordinate donor center events

VOLUNTEER PAPERWORK
• All volunteers are required to have an application on file. We will
contact individuals with incomplete files. You will have 30 days to
become current.
• All volunteers who joined beginning January 1, 2012, are required
to complete a background check as part of the application process.
• Submit volunteer hours and activities monthly to
volunteer@carterbloodcare.org
