Bryant Academy provides alternative education for middle and high school students in Henniker, New Hampshire. It serves up to 12 students between ages 10-21 with learning disabilities or who require a smaller classroom setting. Bryant Academy offers a 180 day academic program and 30 day extended summer program, and individualizes learning plans to help students achieve their goals and transition successfully after graduation. The school was established in 2003 to provide a supportive environment where students can gain confidence and skills to succeed as lifelong learners.

Additional Information: Bryant Academy provides a small classroom setting where a student can experience
academic success, along with developing self-confidence and social awareness; thus
providing students with the skills to achieve their full potential as life-long learners.
Bryant Academy staff utilizes technology and a progressive curriculum to help
students reach their identified goals. The curriculum utilized at Bryant Academy is
aligned the New Hampshire Frameworks and Grade Level Expectations: along with
the goals and objectives outlined in student’s Individual Education Plans or personal
learning plans. Transition goals for each student are carefully coordinated with
students, sending school districts and families. Bryant Academy programming is
developed with the specific intent to orient students towards realizing their personal
concrete, post-secondary plans.
History and Philosophy: Bryant Academy was established in 2003. The Bryant Academy Middle School
relocated from Claremont, NH to Henniker, NH in 2009. Shortly after the Bryant
Academy High School was established in January of 2010. Bryant Academy fosters
a commitment to utilize teaching methodologies and practices, which assist each
student to recognize and realize their natural propensity to learn. It is the goal of
Bryant Academy to identify each student’s individual learning style and encourage
him/her to embrace their own learning process as legitimate and natural. Bryant
Academy provides a comprehensive, high quality, community-based alternative
educational setting for students who have experienced various levels of difficulty
being successful in a traditional educational setting. Bryant Academy provides an
individual learning plan to assist students to resume their studies with a fresh
outlook, regarding their ability and desire to be socially and academically
