To Whom It May Concern:
Brianna Destratis is a student at Herkimer County Community College and was enrolled
in five of my classes — Textiles, Principles of Retailing, Retail Buying, History of Costume,
and Personal Style.
I was impressed with Brianna from the start. She has a very sweet personality, is
extremely motivated, and has a very sunny disposition. She was a pleasure to have in
class where she actively participated in classroom discussions and exercises. Her grades
were excellent across the board. She’s a responsible, dependable, and serious student.
Her attendance was exemplary, and she was always up-to-date with assignments. In
addition to this, she was always respectful, cheerful, and a total pleasure to have in class.
I feel very fortunate to have had Brianna in our program. She was extremely well-liked
by the other students. Her enthusiasm, good nature, seriousness of purpose, and work
ethic is an ideal combination. She’s a young woman that people are drawn to, and will
make an outstanding student at any college lucky enough to admit her!
I retired from teaching in December after 27 years in the profession. I am pleased Brianna
and I have continued to keep in touch with each other, and that she asked me to write
this letter of recommendation. I have also arranged for her to intern at Raoul this summer,
directly under the supervision of their national sales manager, who also happens to be
one of my former students. This experience will enhance her experience in the fashion
industry and in the business world. It also shows her determination to take advantage of
opportunities available to her, and her efforts to keep her eye on the prize.
Sincerely,
