I am an accomplished broadcast Engineer. I have hands-on skills in varied disciplines that complement each
other well. I am a hard working self starter who needs little to no supervision on a daily basis. I have proven
skills in design, implementation as well as troubleshooting. I am experienced in network and telecom
infrastructure, from the desktop to the cable to the server. I am very creative, and I put that creativity to work
daily in helping to find creative solutions to day to day problems and the needs of our users.

Maintenance Engineer, 7/04 TO PRESENT
Helped with the conversion of editing from tape to Avid Newscutter 6.x Adrenaline under Avid
Workgroups, and most recently in 2012, the upgrade of the system to Interplay with Newscutter 9.5.x,
Symphony, and Media Composer Nitris DX and Mojo DX editors.Along with the upgrade from workgroups,
I was heavily involved with the upgrade/migration of our ISIS storage to ISIS 7000
Helped in the upgrade of the studio to HD. Had a lead role in the spec and installation of the Sony 8000G
switcher.
Wrote custom software to generate a news ticker using a Chyron Codi. That system was later upgraded to
use a Chyron Dynacrawl. Currently I build all graphics for tickers, elections, etc. using Newsroom Solutions
Newsticker. I also write and maintain the scripts used for the data and playout of these graphics.
Install, maintain all facets of workflow and transcoding using Telestream Flip Factory and Vantage.
Had the lead role in the installation and current maintenance and upgrades of 2 Chyron HyperX-2 ‘s and
Chyron Camio cluster graphics playout automation.
Had the lead role in the installation and current maintenance and upgrades of Sony ELC Production
automation.
Heavy involvement in the installation and current operation and maintenance of Miranda ITx broadcast
automation.
Well versed in Miranda modular products and the IControl management system.

Maintenance Technician, 3/03 TO 6/2004
Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the television plant and all of its components.
Along with the Engineering Manager, removed legacy and installed new high-def upgradeable camera
system.
Helped to install BAS Autopilot as an upgrade to our old leightronix automation. This system allows us to
control VTR’s, satellite and dss receivers, dishes, and anything that is ir controllable. This system will be
augmented shortly as we add a port router to our control system.
Built a custom pc solution to record our channel 24 hours a day for air-check. The system is available to any
pc user in the plant to review past days recordings.
I am constantly upgrading, adding new, removing old equipment, augmenting wiring and patch bays,
updating plans, etc. as plant is upgraded over time. This includes 6 dps575 frame sync, Pioneer DVD
recorder and many more.

Senior Technologist, 3/98 TO 6/2000
Initiated the process of planning, research, purchasing of all network and workstation hardware / software.
Installed, upgraded and maintained 3 Novell 4.x, and 12 Windows NT 4 Compaq and Dell Servers.
Worked with my team to configure and install all Server and workstation hardware / software.
Responsible for remote connectivity systems, such as Netware Connect, and Windows NT RAS (Was in
process of converting to Shiva LanRover).
Worked with protective systems such as Raptor Firewall, and Norton Antivirus systems on servers as well as
in the desktop environment.
Assisted with Mitel pbx (programming & cabling), AVT fax, and Microsoft Exchange.
Assisted with pc / Macintosh desktop support when team needed help.
Responsible for the support and connectivity (Novell & NT Server) of multiple Macintosh systems, color
printers, scanners, etc. in a graphics production environment.
Responsible for direct support of all hardware / software for Macintosh and pc clients in the presentation /

Maintained and upgraded Macintosh-based Avid and Media 100 non-linear video editing systems, SGI
octane (Discreet Smoke), as well as an NT-based Spruce DVD authoring system.
Designed, built and operated a system of 3 video encoders used for webcasting corporate meetings/events.
On occasion went on site to assist in the production of several of the events that Cramer produces for its
