CAREER OBECTIVE
I would like to expand upon my knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS), build
highly functional and useful applications that provide a wealth of information clearly, and
work with highly motivated people to achieve those goals.
EXPERIENCE
Engineering Technician III

July 2003 to Present
 Work with fellow Technicians to develop GIS and CAD application standards which
include folder storage structure, AutoCAD settings, templates, pen settings, etc.
 Develop and maintain citywide GIS base features including parcels, street centerline,
planimetrics, general land-use, zoning, street lighting, LiDAR data, contours, and relevant
databases.
 Develop and maintain citywide GIS infrastructure features including water, sanitary sewer,
storm, and relevant databases.
 Develop and maintain Map Books with relevant base and infrastructure features including

VIZ and AutoCAD 2002 for customer presentations.
 Trained new hire civil engineering draftsmen for integration into filing and CAD systems.
 “Trouble shooting” of local computer and printer errors in the civil department.
 Field training with surveying equipment and assimilation of data into CAD.
Instructor
ITT Technical Institute
