2. Layout
Gemma has very clearly structured her blog, making it clear and easy to
follow for those who visit the page.
For example here Gemma has added a
navigation bar to the side of her blog.
This is effective because it allows the
blogs visitors to easily browse and
access all of Gemma’s work throughout
the courses entirety. I believe that this
feature was pivotal to the success of
Gemma’s blog, as it shows her ability to
clearly display her work making it
simpler for examiners.
From this I have learnt the importance
of a good blog layout, and how to
structure a successful blog.
3. Context
Throughout her blog, Gemma has consistently included
detailed responses to work she has done, and has
always provided all the relevant information relative to
the task.
This will have contributed to Gemma’s success, as doing this
will ensure that she meets the majority of the criteria,
emplaced, to be met for success in each task.
Furthermore, as you can see Gemma has also included
many different multi-media strategies, to ensure that her
blog remains interesting, but the context remains at a
consistently high standard.
The clip to the left, illustrates, how Gemma decided to work
from home, on a day in which she had taken off through
illness, thus further making her blog successful.
From this I have learnt the importance of using in depth posts
at all times, to ensure the relevant criteria's are met , as
well as the importance of embedding a variety of multi-media
within my blog, in order to be successful.
4. Attitude
Throughout Gemma’s blog she expresses a consistently motivated and efficient attitude towards
her blogs, through her posts. In the above image Gemma states how she came into school early
on deadline day, to ensure all of her work was up to date and she had met all the criteria she
needed to in order to be successful.
From this I have learnt how important having the right attitude is in the success of my work, this
means working from home, catching up on work missed, and working consistently hard throughout
the year both in and outside lessons.
5. Multi Media
Gemma has consistently used a variety of multi media in her blog,
making it interesting and informative as well as expressing to the
examiner, her abilities to use different software's and
programmes effectively and efficiently.
From this I have learnt, how effective multi-media is in a successful
blog, and thus how integral it is for me to use consistently
throughout my own blog.
