2. The age group we are aiming late teens and young adults
between the ages of 16-29 with a small amount of
disposable income who likes to occasionally like to treat
themselves. Our target market have a small amount of
spendable income as this is very often the case with
teens and young adults as many are unemployed,
studying or working.
Our ideal costumer would be a fun, brightly dressed,
summer loving girl as many of our products are summer
time accessories with a few summer time kimonos.
Because our target audience are mostly young adults
who will be too busy having fun with friends so they
don’t want to spend a long time walking around huge
shops looking for a pair of sun glasses which is why our
pop up store would be more practical.
3. There is a huge trend this year with
kimonos, floral hair bands with the whole
festival boho look which will appear
again next year spring/summer .
Designers such as Leonard Springs and
Etro made an appearance of kimonos in
their collection this summer/spring
2015/16. As a business we thought it
would be a great Idea to use this
knowledge for our pop up store.
4.
5. The products would be purchased in
an online whole trader store. We
found a website named Aliexpress
that gives good deals and free
delivery to the UK. The costs online
are all in American dollar but it is
cheaper in pounds. Because it is
cheap we can increase the retail price
therefore.
6.
7. Our pop up store will be held in the quirky
markets of the beloved London city. For our
early years as a business, we would be selling
our products in London markets as it would
be cheaper and more practical. We would
come sell our products in the summer season
where tourists and many people will be out
due to the sunny weather. However once we
build a stabilised brand and we are thinking
of expanding our brand and our business in
the summer music festivals.

9. In the year of 2015, the growth of social media has recently risen due to the cost of the highly developed
apps and networking site such as Facebook , Snapchat and twitter. Whilst there is a huge increase on the
use of social media, businesses found a new and innovative way to advertise their products such as using
Instagram and #hashtags to draw attention. We, Floral Kanji would be using this technique to promote our
product. We would encourage people to take selfie’s that would advertise our pop store by posting it
online.

11. This is a rough sketch of the inside of the
vehicle would look like. It would include
speakers to set a happy summery atmosphere
to attract customers to our pop up store.
There would be a sunroof on top of the door
just in case there is bad weather.
12. The first initial idea was using a camper
van or a bus as they it is big enough to put
more products in. However as we thought
more and more about it, the idea came a
lot of disadvantages instead of advantages
. For starters its is a huge investment to
make for a seasonal pop up store. Also
renovating and decorating the whole entire
shop would cost us a lot of money
especially for a starting company. Another
problem is that one us has to take a heavy
vehicle licence to be able to drive. Also
the cost out of the business starting up
money is stall fees needed for festival
especially for a bus, it would need more
space which indicates more money spent.
13. This perception of Henry Holland gave us an Idea
to use an Ice cream van as our transportation and
also to sell our product. We will be selling our
product in the quirky streets of London such as
Portobello Road and Camden Town. The van
itself gives off a quirky novelty which suits the
personality of this product.
14. There was so many problems with the bus/van
Idea for our transportation. So we considered
using the Idea of Henry Holland Ice Cream
van concept. Surprisingly, there has been
similar ideas that has been done before such as
Topshop. The advantages of driving a small
ice cream is that a no extra new driving
licence needed to be updated which means it
avoids hiring a driver. It is ran in diesel
therefore it is cheaper and it is tax exempt.
The idea of it being in a ice cream van with a
novelty ice cream machine could bring in
more customers. We also looked at the
disadvantages such it is a small area for staff
and it has less storage space so the products
has to be limited.
15. We found a cheap ice cream van for less that £2,000
on eBay and still have enough to renovate the van.
The additional novelty ice cream machine installed
at the back of the van could potentially add on extra
income
16. Rough sketch of the floor plan inside the
ice cream van. The soeakers would be
added on the sides of the van to attract
more people.

19. The garments will be ordered from a
whole trade supply called
Aliexpress.com where there is free
shipping in the UK. In the early days of
the business there would not be a lot of
products and it would be low in stocks
to find out the best selling products.
Once the best selling products has been
established then that's the time we as
the a business going increase our stocks
and add more kimonos and accessories.
