Dear Brad,
I want to personally thank you for your participation as .a presenting author at the 119th
Metalcasting Congress in Columbus, Ohio. We are very pleased with the feedback that we
received. The major reason people attend the technical sessions at Congress is to acquire
information that can be applied in the foundry when they return. This transfer of information
and technology through presentations such as yours helps move the industry forward,
improves our competitiveness in the complex global economy, and provides a foundation upon
which we continue to build.
The work done by Division Council and the authors and presenters at Congress is critical to our
industry. AFS could not provide this service without the contribution from industry
professionals, like yourself, who take the time to share their metalcasting expertise.
On behalf of the AFS Board of Directors, the Division Council, and the entire staff of AFS, I want
to extend to you a very sincere thank you for your contribution to this year's Metalcasting
Congress.
Respectfully,
Chris Norch
AFS Immediate Past President
