● Our meetup local community in Seattle/Eastside is growing fast!
● Apache Flink is becoming more and more popular

4. Call for Event Sponsors
Responsibilities (simple)
● provide a space to host about 40~50 people, and simple free food and drinks.
Benefits
● better tech brand exposure
● get help on recruitment by attracting local talents to visit your office
● broader sharing of your presentation online
● Sponsor can give the first presentation of the meetup
○ Sponsors do not have to provide speakers, and can still sponsor our events

5. Call for Speakers
● Presentation topics can be, including not limited to,
○ Best practices of Apache Flink
○ Use cases of Apache Flink inside your team/company
○ New features in latest Apache Flink release that helps you a lot, and you would
analyze and demonstrate to other users
○ Features/components you developed in your own fork or around Apache Flink
○ Apache Flink eco system
● Topics must be relevant to Apache Flink and its ecosystem. The topic is
better to be in-depth, rather than shallow.
