2. TRAILER
• After constructing my trailer I received a lot of relevant feedback from my audience about
what aspects they liked and which they didn’t like. I took in the comments and then began
to reconstruct my trailer into a way that met the relevant feedback and improve my trailer.
• One piece of feedback I received was from my teachers who told me to restructure my
trailer as it lacked flow and movement in the trailer. After being told of this I went back and
began to rearrange my trailer into how it ended up, and I am very happy in the structure of
my trailer, I believe that it has a nice pacer to it and informs the audience of the plot in a
different way without giving away too many details, e.g. Why the antagonist killed Ethan.
• This has allowed me to really think about how important each piece of footage was and
that I had to be careful not to make the plot too confusing for the audience while also
maintaining the build up of the trailer as it progresses. Overall this helped me produce my
trailer looking professional and of a high class.
3. TRAILER
• Another piece of feedback that I received was the use of sound. Sound is very important
to trailers and the specific piece of sound in which I needed to focus on was the dialogue
in the trailer. For the majority of the clip the dialogue is easy to understand and I had no
problems with however there is one section
towards the end of my trailer where the
audio is difficult to hear. It was a windy day
when we filmed and despite my best
attempts to make it as loud as possible the
best I could do was this (Play Video on right
to hear).
However compared to how quiet is was at
the start of my trailer is has gotten a lot
better and I am happy with how it sounds
now. This helped me understand better that
audio plays a key role in a trailer, and so
after this I made sure that other audio was
as clear as I could make it.
