This document provides specifications for an insulated, fire-rated door. The door leaf is 62mm thick with steel skins and a mineral fiber core. It has rebated edges on three sides for fire integrity. Frames are 2mm thick galvanized steel folded into a standard 100mm single rebate profile. Doors are tested to BS EN1634-1 for fire ratings up to E120/I60. Standard ironmongery includes steel hinges, overhead closers, panic bolts, locks, handles and push plates in a silver finish. Finishes are available in any BS or RAL color.

Each vertical leaf edge is fitted with 2 No. security
steel pins and is reinforced internally with 5mm
thick steel strips which add extra strength and
provide fixing positions for the hinges.
Steel and fibre board reinforcements are built into
the top of the leaf for closers with additional
reinforcements provided at the lock position.
Frames
 2mm thick galvanized steel folded to form a
standard 100mm single rebate profile, as
shown on Product Datasheet PD06‐2.
Headers are profiled to form a smooth butt joint Leaf/Frame Detail
with the vertical jambs using a bolted connection.
Vertical jambs are reinforced with 5mm thick steel
plates at the hinge and wall fixing positions.
Shallow depth extruded aluminium thresholds with
integral seals are optional items, along with
perimeter tear drop seals in the frame rebates at
the verticals and the header.

Ironmongery
BOOTH‐FDi door sets are provided with the following
standard ironmongery items:
Hinges:
PD06‐02 Single Rebate 1 pair heavy duty, 3‐part steel, high performance
stainless steel hinges with ball bearings.
Overhead Closers:
Heavy duty overhead closers with 2‐4 or 3‐6 strength in a
silver finish.
Panic Bolts:
Exidor single and double, vertical rod panic escape
systems finished in silver.
PD06‐01 Double Rebate Also available with external night latches and locks with
Euro‐profile cylinders for access from outside the
building.
Locks & Latches:
DIN standard mortice sash locks, latches and deadlocks.
Handles:
Stainless steel lever and pull handles, and push plates.

Finishes
PPC finishes as standard in any BS or RAL colour.
Note: Whatever ironmongery is selected all items are
normally factory fitted, requiring no additional assembly
work on site.
