American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Bringing his skills to the
University of Virginia, Bobby Chhabra, MD, chairs the Department
of Orthopaedic Surgery, which has won several awards over the last
year.
The University of Virginia (UVA) Medical Center’s Department of
Orthopaedic Surgery stood out as an honoree on Becker’s Hospital
Review’s list of 100 Hospitals with Great Orthopaedic Programs in
2016. The list includes hospitals that have earned recognition from
various industry-leading organizations, publications, and
accrediting organizations. Becker’s Hospital Review made special
mention of UVA Virginia’s level I trauma center and its hand center,
calling the latter “one-of-a kind in Virginia.”
