Joined the Company when it was looking to invigorate its branding. Since then, it has been an
exciting journey with full of challenges. Have seen the brand through many phases since then,
and its evolution into a leading brand powered by best-in-class marketing communication among
other things – from having the best Catalogues and Brochures in the industry, to having better
and more In-shop Meets, better POS Branding, participating in big Exhibitions like Acetech
and ABID, having Architect and Fabricator Meets, having Loyalty Programmes, having
better Product Launches, one-of-its-kind Newsletter, a solid Digital presence, and utilizing PR
opportunities better. Aludecor has simply told its story better than others, and I am proud to have
been a part of this wonderful process.
SOME ACHIEVEMENTS:
• LAUNCHING THE FIRST 3D FINISH ACP: The name of the product, Cortina, was
drawn on its curtain-like feel. A booklet was conceptualized which would be based on
pre-launch feedbacks of industry experts, and eventually used as an insert of the best
architectural magazine in India, Architecture + Design. Over 150 odd experts gave
opinions through an online feedback form, rating it on a scale of 10 and suggesting
application areas of the product, among other things. Over 80% gave positive feedbacks,

and that became the headline for the booklet. The reasons-to-believe thus generated,
made Cortina an instant hit, and since then the product has only grown in popularity.
• MAKING BIOMIMICRY A SELLING POINT FOR CATALOGUES: Many of our
products replicate nature in different ways which in architecture is known as biomimicry.
The agency was told to introduce this word and the concept per se in a subtle way. This
has given the catalogues of such products a much-deserved respectability, distinction and
a unique communications route. For e.g. the catalogue on Sand finish ACP draws an
analogy between sands of different geographies and the product range.
• INTRODUCTION OF MASCOT: In order to communicate better with small
fabricators, a mascot has been introduced along with regional languages. The TG has
been found to relate to this much more compared to other forms of conventional
communications.
• A VERY RESPECTABLE AND ONE-OF-ITS-KIND NEWSLETTER: This was
launched after I joined the Company. I named it The Adorner. Since its launch I have
been the Editor-Writer of this newsletter which has seen through 16 editions, and has
carried insightful and highly lauded interviews of the likes of Bobby Mukherjee, Nitin
Parulekar, Dikshu Kukreja, Dulal Mukherjee, Vivek Bhole and other big boys of the
industry. I interview the industry experts personally. The interviews are filmed as well for
our YouTube channel.
• UNPARALLELED DIGITAL MARKETING IN THE ACP INDUSTRY: Owing to
our quality of content, our digital marketing is way ahead of our competitors. The
YouTube channel comprises more than 50 interviews of industry experts, including
testimonial videos of clients lauding our products or brand
• STANDARDISED MARKETING PPT OF INTERNATIONAL STANDARD: We
have a standardized PPT for the sales team which is powered by a smooth flow, attractive
designs and lucid communications. Easily one of the best in the industry.
• UNIQUE DIWALI GIFT: A novel initiative of getting trees planted in the names of
clients on the occasion of Diwali’16, and issuing certificates in their names with unique
codes through which they can track the plant.
