explains the significance of the existing health
related laws in safeguarding people’s health
1) Identify the existing health related laws and the
government agencies that enforce the law;
2) Explains the significance of existing health related laws to
people; and
3) Show awareness on the importance of government agencies
and related laws to one’s health.

Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 provides a
peaceful, orderly, and self-sustaining community
with fewer problems, like juvenile delinquency.
National Blood Services Act of 1994 provides
adequate, safe, affordable, and equitable distribution
of supply of blood and blood products.
The Philippine AIDS Prevention and Control Act of
1998 provides for the improvement of quality and
delivery of healthcare services in the country.
Traditional and Alternative Medicine Act of 1997
protects the people against hazards to health and
safety, and deceptive and unfair sales acts and
practices.
The Consumer Act of the Philippines mandates for
information dissemination and education to facilitate
sound choice and proper exercise of rights by the
consumer.
1. There will onlybe 10 players.
2. Each player will be given a fork and when the host or
hostess yells “Go!” The student will pop the balloon with a
fork.
3. Solve the basic equation inside the balloonsin order to
reveal the government agencies that enforces the laws
written on each item. Then match the item found in the
balloonto its description displayed on the board.
4. Students with the correct answer will be given
awards/points.

related to HIV/AIDS:
1. Causes
2. Modes of transmission
3. Consequences
4. Means of prevention and control
promotes and encourages voluntary blood
donation by the citizenry and to instill public
consciousness of the principle that blood
donation is a humanitarian act;
It promotes a healthful environment; the Act
absolutely bans smoking in public places.
It restricts access to sale of tobacco products
to minors.
“CHILD PORNOGRAPHY – refers to any
representation, whether visual, audio, or
written combination thereof, by electronic,
mechanical, digital, optical, magnetic or any
other means, of child engaged or involved in
real or simulated explicit sexual activities.
Punishes content-related offenses such as cybersex, child
pornography and libel which may be committed through a
computer system. It also penalizes unsolicited commercial
communicationor content that advertises or sells products
or services.
CYBER- refers to a computer or a
computer network, the electronic
medium in which online
communicationtakes place
Penalizes those who will go too far during initiation
rites wherein the “applicant” is subjected to severe
physical and emotional pain and suffering.
Promotes environmental awareness through
environmental education.
Aims to secure and safeguard passengers and
drivers of motor vehicles from injuries and other
effects of vehicular accidents.
Penalizes those who will be caught driving under
the influence of alcohol, drugs and other similar
substances.
