Add	&	Remove	Icons	to	Quick	Tools

Q: What are [Quick Tools]?

A: [Quick tools] are the icons you see in the toolbar at the top of the screen (image below).  You can add
the tools you use most frequently so they are easier to access while you are working.

Q: How do I add and remove the [stamp icons] to my [Quick Tools]
toolbar?

A: There are 2 ways to add or remove tool icons on the [Quick Tools]
toolbar. One way, is directly from the tool icon itself.

Adding	Tools	#	1
To do this, from the upper right toolbar click [Comment] 
click [Annotations]  right click on top of the [stamp
icon] and select [Add to Quick Tools].

The stamp icon has been added to the end of the icons of my toolbar as shown in the image below.

Remove	Tools	#	1
From the [Quick Tools] toolbar, right click on top of the tool and
click [Remove from Quick Tools]

Adding	&	Removing	Tools	#	2
From this [Customize Quick Tools] dialog box is the second way to add or remove tool icons on the
[Quick Tools]. In the window to the left, click the + or – to open and close the sub‐menus of all [Quick
Tools] that can be added to the toolbar.

Add a Tool ‐ Select it from the window on the left then click the right arrow located between
the two windows. Your tool should appear at the bottom of the window on the right.

Add a Separator ‐ In the window to the right, select the icon to appear on the left of the
separator then click the icon [vertical line with green +] between the left/right arrows between
the windows.

You can move the new tools and separators into different locations of your choosing by following the
directions discussed previously. Once you have finished adding or removing icons, click ok.

Moving	Toolbar	Icon	Locations

These icons can be organized by right clicking in an empty space of the
toolbar at the top of the screen and selecting [Quick Tools…] from the
menu.

When the [Customize Quick Tools] dialog box appears, select the [stamp icon] from the window on the
right. Click the up or down arrows to move the icon to the location of your choosing, then click ok.

The [stamp icon] has now been moved to the location of my choosing as shown in the image below.
