2. OUTLINE
1. Carefully follow all the instructions you are given and always get the requested documents to the person
in charge of helping you right away, without delay.
A. You will be required to have very many documents on the property,
insurance, utilities, other expenses and your family income.
B. You will be required to attend a counseling session at an assigned
location, which may or may not be close to you.
C. Upon waiting a period of time you will have to back up your documents as
the next level of personnel read over paperwork. They may need updated
information as well as check to see if income has fluctuated.
D. At anytime you can scan documents and email them the faster the
process of getting things done. Do so only after talking to your Counselor.
2. Don’t feel bad reaching out for help by learning where the help is coming from.
A. Learn about where the money originated from.
B. Learn why the money has been set aside to help with mortgages.
C. Understand that help is limited in time and the money available for each
family to benefit from is also limited.
D. Understand that what is happening is a law that was enacted for persons
in housing trouble, so don’t hesitate to ask for help and don’t be afraid.
3. Realize this process takes time and patience and that those involved are understanding of the time it does
take to accomplish the whole process.
