1. Transportation for More Students
The School District of Philadelphia continues to provide free transportation services, including free transpasses.
Students who are eligible to receive free transportation
 Grades 7 – 12 who live 1.5 miles or more from school
 Grades 1 – 6 who live 1.5 miles or more from their
neighborhood school
 Grades 1 – 8 who live near a Hazardous Route
 Grades 1 – 12, Desegregation
 Grades 1 – 12 who live 1.5 miles or more from school,
Overcrowding
 Special Education, by IEP
Note: This program is for Philadelphia public, charter, private and
archdiocesan students
Transpass Information
 Passes will be distributed at the school on a weekly basis.
 To obtain FREE Transpasses, a student must be a resident of
the city.
 Transpasses may be used Monday – Friday from 5:30am –
7:00pm and are only valid during the school year.
