Cause And Effect Of Low Education Essay
Causes of Majority Drop–outs in a Higher Education
The first thing most of us are conditioned to learn at a young age is if you are not a college graduate, you will not make it in this world. Although
there is partial truth to this statement, it is important to know that college may not be for everyone and there are good paying jobs out there that don't
require any sort of higher education outside of high school. This may appeal to you if you just are concerned about making a living. For those of us
that are just not sure or even if you are, it is important to consider the facts. There are many people that drop out of college or never attempt to start at
all.
The cause of this differs between individuals and in some cases, dropping out of college can be necessary. Things such as finances, excess
emotion, addiction and overall lack of desire are common causes for both the need to and the decisions made for someone who wants drop out. I
feel things such as these are especially crucial for the ones out there that just don't know how to deal with college or are thinking about going back
because it gives us an insight. The details presented to you is an effort to clear up some of the confusion on what would be considered a legitimate
reason to drop out and what would also be considered a poor reason.
The first cause would be prolonged moods outside of school. True success in anything requires full dedication and attention. When a person is going

many years attending college instead doing jobs they cannot earn enough money. Some student learns bad habits of their friends. Two reasons
going to college are a better career and greater knowledge; two effects of going college are making friends and debt. One important reason going
to college is to make better career. Many colleges provide student intern locally on their own majors. It is a great chance to get experience in real
job practical knowledge during the degree program. So, they can develop their skills before complete degree. After finishing the degree, high

Three papers, four tests, six different homework assignments, rent is due, a crisis arose at home, and you are scheduled to work more hours than an
average work week. All of homework assignments and rent are due by the end of the week. All of the factors listed above are stressors that your
average college student faces at one point in their academic career. This paper will discuss the commonly used coping mechanisms that college students
use, as well as the negative effects that stress causes and healthy ways to manage one's stress..
Stress is something that every person deals with and is a response from the body about threats or challenges that result from stressor(s) and cause
strain (Licht, Hull, &Ballantyne, 2014). Emotional, physiological or psychological reactions are different stressors that cause the body to react. Some
stressors that a student might face are academics, financial, family, social, and daily hassles. Examples of the stressors listed above are things like,
grade point average (GPA), paying bills, a divorce or family emergency, fitting in with your peers, and traffic or roommate issues. When all of these
factors build up it causes extreme amounts of stress. Learning how to cope with the stresses that students are faced with, will help them succeed and
not become as overwhelmed in situations.
Two of the most common coping strategies that college students use are emotional coping and problem solving strategies. Emotion–focused coping is

Everyone in the world has a chance to experience stress, so almost everyone knows what the meaning of stress is. Most people who suffer from stress
are college students because they have many things to do at the same time. Students have to balance their course work and family at the same time, and
they have to leave their family problems in their home to be able to concentrate carefully on their course work. The university life has become a lot
more challenging, and it's much harder than school. I think being in college can be extremely stressful because students have to do everything by
themselves. Furthermore, students have many assignments to do everyday. Therefore, students stay awake late and don't pay attention to the class
because...show more content...
This stress affects their attention on the class. Another cause of college stress is losing or gaining weight. Sometimes students do not have time to
eat because of the work they have to do. According to Scott (2008), in the article about stress for college students "Some people think that while
student study for first year, some of students they lost their weight and other gain because of academic stress" (P7). As a result of not having
enough proteins and energy to stay healthy, some students lose weight. For example, before I came here to study my major, my weight was 70kg,
but after four months of studying here and the amount of work I had to finish, my weight has become 61kg because I don't have time to cook, and
I feel lazy, so I just eat simple foods and go to the bed. Also, my friend Abdurrahman who came with me to the U.S., he was 73kg but until now he
has gained 9kg because of the stress which caused him to eat chocolate and ice cream when he felt bad. Because of this stress, students would not be
able to focus carefully because they are unhealthy, so the brain may not work like some healthy person. Therefore, the stress on college students
attributes to weight loss and gain. The third cause of stress that college students deal with is time management problems. Some college students are
more independent, and they have to work for themselves. Most of the students have a part time job, so they can pay for their

The Causes And Effects Of Higher Education
The causes and effects of higher levels of education are very beneficial for one's future. Higher education allows one to be more developed and
prepared for the workforce that entails a more enjoyable life than less educated people. In the United States, educated people are 79% more likely to
be chosen for a job over a less educated applicant (DePrince). Education allows one to gain many characteristics that are looked for throughout the
working world. Success, emotional stability, personal connections, empowerment and personal responsibility are all effects of being highly educated.
As a result of these effects of being educated, one's life tends to be happier and more enjoyable than the life of a less educated individual. Education
enables people to be more successful and gives them the upper–hand when it comes to being able to coax through life as an adult. Being highly
educated can cause someone's income to be many tens–of–thousands of dollars higher. In a study done on high school graduates and college graduates
with a bachelor's degree, the results determined that college graduates attain approximately $64,500 annually while those with a high school diploma
earn $41,000 (Karageorge). With higher education, better job opportunities appear due to college teaching many versatile characteristics that
companies look for. These job opportunities lead to higher salaries and better health benefits covered by the companies than people that are not
qualified for these jobs. When people have a high income, they are more financially stable and tend to make ends meet easier. Many people stress
over paying bills, paying off debt and being able to do what they want to be happy. When more money is applied to this situation these issue and
worries diminish and happiness increases due to the lack of stress over every day problems. Once all the bills are paid people are left with nothing
but free time. With this free time and extra money one could do as they want to have fun such as, going on a vacation or buying a new toy like a
motorcycle to make them happy. Money is always the ultimate variable in life, due to the world revolving around it. Without success, there would not
be as much money, and without as much money

College Admissions Essay-Cause And Effect
Cause and Effect It seemed as if every time I got two steps ahead, I was then pushed back ten. My life was a never ending roller coaster of ups and
downs. My over all happiness is the reason why I am single. After ending a toxic relationship and letting go of a few useless friendships I was left
alone. Not physically because I still had my son, but mentally in a sense because I wasn't use to such seclusion. Separating myself from everyone
gave me a chance to finally get to know myself and decide on what it was I wanted out of life. In the beginning I had separation anxiety, not knowing
what to do with myself and feeling as if I needed someone around. Over time that began to change and I started to feel something I hadn't felt in a while,

Nowadays, it is quite normal for people to feel stressed, including the young generations. Students in universities may suffer from stress due to a wide
variety of reasons, such as personal issues and financial problems, which may create anxiety. According to research, being under pressure can affect
those students mentally and emotionally and even physically, because they overthink their problems, failing in concentrating on their work, and
sometimes making choices is difficult for them. Stressed students tend to become nervous easily, and lacking confidence makes them consider it tough
to overcome fears and anxiety. Students in universities can be unable to deal with psychological problems properly, they may display negative
behaviours such as drinking and smoking excessively, being rude and avoiding challenges. What is more, physical aches including muscle tension are
caused by stress as well, and it may produce dizziness, sleeping problems and unhealthy eating habits (NHS, 2017). However, stress does not have
any medical definition, when it causes problems, the problems may aggravate its symptoms (Mind, 2017). For college students, it is necessary to
handle the pressure properly and positively, schools and governments also have to take it seriously. This essay will illustrate the cause and effect of
stress, and offer solutions to stressed students.
Stress may come in two ways. Normally, it may be triggered by specific things or events like "personal issues", work and

There are many causes for dropping out of college. There are also many effects of dropping out too. Only about 56% of college students will
complete a college degree within six years. The causes I'm going to cover is stress, pregnancy, and finances. Many effects can be lifelong such as
student loans, being an undergraduate, and just not completing the degree. College is all about strength and perseverance. Strength from the fact
of if you stay in college and complete the degree it's a great honor. Also having a college degree looks great on any resume and can help get great
jobs in the future. One of the main reasons for not completing a college degree is stress. Stress plays a big part in college dropouts. Stress can take
a toll on someone's body, and can cause a person to want to quit what they are doing. Stress from college can come in many ways. The two I'm
going to cover is homework and sports. Many people would wonder how stress can come through homework. Stress from homework can come in
many forms, for example; homework build up, not understanding the material, and not finishing the homework on time. Homework build up happens
a lot with college students; on average every college student could have up to 17 hours of homework each week! Not understanding the material and
trying to do the homework can cause a lot of stress. This stress can come from not wanting to make a low grade on any of the assignments or tests.

College Failure : Cause And Effect
College Failure: Cause & Effect
People always think of reasons to why college is incredibly important .The biggest reason a person will attend college is to receive a better education
and hopefully become more successful. As much as a motivational statement that may be, it 's harder for many students to keep that in mind. There are
countless reasons to why a student may fail college courses, but it can be narrowed down to a few. College is one of the most challenging life events a
student will ever face in his or her life. It is all about how well a student 's life may be, how the college may be able to help students, or possibly the
loss of self–motivation.
The frequent thought of going to college always starts within a student 's high school years. Many high schools try to prepare or motivate students for
college classes and may help in a better understanding of how college works. Students have a tendency to believe college courses might be similar to
high school courses. That assumption can cause a problem when experiencing the college courses. College is a more intense kind of education
compared to high school, so the two have many differences. College students could possibly bring the same terrible habits from high school to the
college institution. Examples of a terrible habit may be procrastinating, turning assignments in late, or not showing up for class. Students could fail
courses just be simply not being prepared for college courses.

Stress Among College Students Essay examples
College is a time of extreme stress due to societal and parental pressures. College students have expectations they have to live up to in order to fulfill
and satisfy the needs of both their parents and society. Stress is expressed through a variety of symptoms that can be hazardous to student's physical
and mental health. With such high expectations to do well during college, students may become sleep deprived, which impairs mental capacity, but
sleep deprivation is only one of a vast array of symptoms. Stress is present in all aspects of life and there are multiple causes of stress, especially,
during the college period which may present itself through many symptoms, but with stress, there are also various coping methods to help students

According to Lupien, McEwan, Gunnar, and Heim (2009), going off to college involves significant adjustments to their daily routines; sleeping and
eating habits, time–management skills, and stress levels will be altered in one way or another. First–year students have to adjust to the new school
environment, different social settings, and new schedules, all without the help and guidance from their parents, who have been there for them for
eighteen years. Over 30% of college freshman report that they feel overwhelmed (Klainberg, Ewing, & Ryan, 2010), where some students even opt
to work as they juggle their class and work schedules. Some students work at a job or study harder than others, but they are all trying to get degrees
so maybe one day they will have meaningful and significant lives. It is a constant struggle for everyone who is trying desperately to make him or
herself into a success. And every college student wants to be involved in society in a positive manner, allowing contribution of their ideals and values to
others. Stress in college is caused by many other influencing factors. One of these important factors would have to be the expectations set by parents.
They are normally the reason students are in college, so pleasing them by getting good grades is almost mandatory. The thought of displeasing out
parents can be detrimental to our thought process; meaning that it most likely would cause impaired

Cause And Effect On Student Debt
Student debt is slowing the growth of the U.S economy because it makes graduates not able to spend on goods and progress their lives. The obvious
problem, supported with statistics, show that the increasing of tuition costs and student debt balances to be harming to the growth of America's
economy and its people. How? Statistics show that Americans owe more than $1.45 trillion dollars in student debt, shared amongst 44 million people.
You would think by knowing this fact students will reconsider attending a four–year college, yet it doesn't affect enrollment at all. What's more
concerning is college graduates leaving school with an average of $34,000 of student debt, according to Federal Reserve's Bank of New York,
effecting young Americans in many ways leaving them stuck in excelling at life.
Jim, a future college student, coming from a middle–class family living in Missouri, is the first to attend college in his family. His parents can't support
him in tuition payments, because it's out of their budget. He is left with the choice of taking out student loans. Choosing where to attend college is a
big decision for some but for others like Jim, it's how they're going to pay for it, and with the rise of tuition costs, it only gets harder. That is why
students are left with choosing to take out student loans.
You may wonder, why is tuition increasing? Well there are a lot of factors. But the most significant is the 2017 Tax Plan. According to CNNMoney,

Cause And Effect Essay For Profit Colleges
For Profit Colleges For profit colleges are hitting college students over the head in the worst ways. Many students are looking for an alternative to
regular college whether it be to go to school online or just have a shorter semester can end up getting burned. Extreme debt due to student loans, false
promises and lack of accreditation are just three factors that can ruin your life. These factors can lead to extreme debt that can't be paid off, large hopes
that will be let down, and lack of job flexibility after graduating. The movie "College Inc." tells how for profit colleges can ruin the lives of many. For
profit colleges can cause more harm than good and should not be allowed to exist. For those people who attend a for profit college, debt is just one

If the students went to school in a poor area that offered little to no training on which college is right for them. If a student went to a school in a
richer area before college they would be helped with colleges and where to apply. The for profit colleges just know what type of person they want to

Stress Among College Students Unfortunately, college students experience a vast amount of stress during their semesters. According to New York
University, stress takes a toll on a student's physical health, emotional well–being, and academic success. In addition, "College Students experience
stress, related to changes in lifestyle, increased workloads, new responsibilities, and interpersonal relationships."A student stress survey was conducted
by Ross (1999) to further support the claim of stress being a catalyst to the incompetency of a student's mental and physical health. The results of the
survey were astonishing because the top five sources of stress are changes in sleeping habits, vacations/breaks, increased workload, change in eating
habits, and new responsibilities. Therefore, stressors that students face throughout college is a new environment, different responsibilities, deadlines,
well written work, exams, and time management. Time management can be a crucial stressor in college. For instance, if a student doesn't manage their
time efficiently and effectively then that will lead to low grades or academic failure. Poor grades is a factor that ties with terrible sleeping habits and
disorganized time management. Stress can be critical to a student's academic success, according to New YorkUniversity, "Six in ten college students
report feeling very stressed that they couldn't get their work done on one or more occasions." The outcome is that stress leads to an

The Cause And Effect Of Attending College
Attending college is not for everyone but for personal experience, college was right for me. I didn 't have a great high school years. But college...
everything was great so far. I was super excited but wasn 't too terribly nervous because I will be the first graduating college if I stay and pass all my
classes. I also did duel credit while I was in high school taking college credit so I was far ahead than most people. I was familiar with the classes and
the professor when I took college classes in high school. Of course I had my ups and down and that 's what great about college learn all the good,
the bad, and the ugly part of college. The cause and effect of attending college has it great reason why we should go to college and these are what I
've been told and learn personal experience. Also researching David Leonhardt 's article was very interesting and help look at it in a different way
by saying dropping out of college isn 't always a bad thing. A website called lds.org and it teach us about education and how it help support with
college and how education is important for us. The reason to attending college is to make friends along the way, to get a decent job by studying that
part of career. Learn to gain financial responsibility, practice and improve advertising themselves with a degree. Learn how to live independence while
living away from home. Build better resume and also reputation. Last but not least, because of society, society want more people to attend

Causes And Effects Of College Tuition
The Effects of Rise in College Cost "Nearly one half of all college–qualified, low–and moderate–income high school graduates are unable to afford
college. During the first decade of the twenty–first century, 4.4 million high school graduates will not attend a four–year college, and about 2 million
will not attend no college at all" ("Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance 2002"). The increasing cost of college tuition is both a
personal problem for many and a public issue as well. The rise in college tuition prevents students from getting the education they need, prevents
students with limited options, and prevents the unemployment rates to increase. The increasing cost of college tuition is a personal problem for many
students because they cannot afford the education needed to pursue a possible future career. "Colleges are putting the brakes on hefty price increases,
but tuition and fees are still rising at a faster rate than the financial aid and family income needed to cover costs" (Douglas–Gabriel). Although many
students are eligible for financial aid, this money usually is not sufficient enough to cover the cost of tuition for even one year. When the financial aid
money is not sufficient enough students frequently have to lean towards getting a student loan from a bank or a personal source. Increase in college
tuition not only becomes the student's personal problem but it starts involving other family members as well. Many families cannot afford to pay

  • 1. Cause And Effect Of Low Education Essay Causes of Majority Drop–outs in a Higher Education The first thing most of us are conditioned to learn at a young age is if you are not a college graduate, you will not make it in this world. Although there is partial truth to this statement, it is important to know that college may not be for everyone and there are good paying jobs out there that don't require any sort of higher education outside of high school. This may appeal to you if you just are concerned about making a living. For those of us that are just not sure or even if you are, it is important to consider the facts. There are many people that drop out of college or never attempt to start at all. The cause of this differs between individuals and in some cases, dropping out of college can be necessary. Things such as finances, excess emotion, addiction and overall lack of desire are common causes for both the need to and the decisions made for someone who wants drop out. I feel things such as these are especially crucial for the ones out there that just don't know how to deal with college or are thinking about going back because it gives us an insight. The details presented to you is an effort to clear up some of the confusion on what would be considered a legitimate reason to drop out and what would also be considered a poor reason. The first cause would be prolonged moods outside of school. True success in anything requires full dedication and attention. • 3. Three papers, four tests, six different homework assignments, rent is due, a crisis arose at home, and you are scheduled to work more hours than an average work week. All of homework assignments and rent are due by the end of the week. All of the factors listed above are stressors that your average college student faces at one point in their academic career. This paper will discuss the commonly used coping mechanisms that college students use, as well as the negative effects that stress causes and healthy ways to manage one's stress.. Stress is something that every person deals with and is a response from the body about threats or challenges that result from stressor(s) and cause strain (Licht, Hull, &Ballantyne, 2014). Emotional, physiological or psychological reactions are different stressors that cause the body to react. Some stressors that a student might face are academics, financial, family, social, and daily hassles. Examples of the stressors listed above are things like, grade point average (GPA), paying bills, a divorce or family emergency, fitting in with your peers, and traffic or roommate issues. When all of these factors build up it causes extreme amounts of stress. Learning how to cope with the stresses that students are faced with, will help them succeed and not become as overwhelmed in situations. • 4. Everyone in the world has a chance to experience stress, so almost everyone knows what the meaning of stress is. Most people who suffer from stress are college students because they have many things to do at the same time. Students have to balance their course work and family at the same time, and they have to leave their family problems in their home to be able to concentrate carefully on their course work. The university life has become a lot more challenging, and it's much harder than school. I think being in college can be extremely stressful because students have to do everything by themselves. Furthermore, students have many assignments to do everyday. Therefore, students stay awake late and don't pay attention to the class because...show more content... This stress affects their attention on the class. Another cause of college stress is losing or gaining weight. Sometimes students do not have time to eat because of the work they have to do. According to Scott (2008), in the article about stress for college students "Some people think that while student study for first year, some of students they lost their weight and other gain because of academic stress" (P7). As a result of not having enough proteins and energy to stay healthy, some students lose weight. For example, before I came here to study my major, my weight was 70kg, but after four months of studying here and the amount of work I had to finish, my weight has become 61kg because I don't have time to cook, and I feel lazy, so I just eat simple foods and go to the bed. Also, my friend Abdurrahman who came with me to the U.S., he was 73kg but until now he has gained 9kg because of the stress which caused him to eat chocolate and ice cream when he felt bad. Because of this stress, students would not be able to focus carefully because they are unhealthy, so the brain may not work like some healthy person. Therefore, the stress on college students attributes to weight loss and gain. The third cause of stress that college students deal with is time management problems. Some college students are more independent, and they have to work for themselves. Most of the students have a part time job, so they can pay for their Get more content on HelpWriting.net

My life was a never ending roller coaster of ups and downs. My over all happiness is the reason why I am single. After ending a toxic relationship and letting go of a few useless friendships I was left alone. Not physically because I still had my son, but mentally in a sense because I wasn't use to such seclusion. Separating myself from everyone gave me a chance to finally get to know myself and decide on what it was I wanted out of life. • 9. Nowadays, it is quite normal for people to feel stressed, including the young generations. Students in universities may suffer from stress due to a wide variety of reasons, such as personal issues and financial problems, which may create anxiety. According to research, being under pressure can affect those students mentally and emotionally and even physically, because they overthink their problems, failing in concentrating on their work, and sometimes making choices is difficult for them. Stressed students tend to become nervous easily, and lacking confidence makes them consider it tough to overcome fears and anxiety. Students in universities can be unable to deal with psychological problems properly, they may display negative behaviours such as drinking and smoking excessively, being rude and avoiding challenges. What is more, physical aches including muscle tension are caused by stress as well, and it may produce dizziness, sleeping problems and unhealthy eating habits (NHS, 2017). However, stress does not have any medical definition, when it causes problems, the problems may aggravate its symptoms (Mind, 2017). For college students, it is necessary to handle the pressure properly and positively, schools and governments also have to take it seriously. As much as a motivational statement that may be, it 's harder for many students to keep that in mind. There are countless reasons to why a student may fail college courses, but it can be narrowed down to a few. College is one of the most challenging life events a student will ever face in his or her life. It is all about how well a student 's life may be, how the college may be able to help students, or possibly the loss of self–motivation. The frequent thought of going to college always starts within a student 's high school years. Many high schools try to prepare or motivate students for college classes and may help in a better understanding of how college works. Students have a tendency to believe college courses might be similar to high school courses. That assumption can cause a problem when experiencing the college courses. College is a more intense kind of education compared to high school, so the two have many differences. College students could possibly bring the same terrible habits from high school to the college institution. According to Lupien, McEwan, Gunnar, and Heim (2009), going off to college involves significant adjustments to their daily routines; sleeping and eating habits, time–management skills, and stress levels will be altered in one way or another. First–year students have to adjust to the new school environment, different social settings, and new schedules, all without the help and guidance from their parents, who have been there for them for eighteen years. Over 30% of college freshman report that they feel overwhelmed (Klainberg, Ewing, & Ryan, 2010), where some students even opt to work as they juggle their class and work schedules. Some students work at a job or study harder than others, but they are all trying to get degrees so maybe one day they will have meaningful and significant lives. It is a constant struggle for everyone who is trying desperately to make him or herself into a success. And every college student wants to be involved in society in a positive manner, allowing contribution of their ideals and values to others. Stress in college is caused by many other influencing factors. One of these important factors would have to be the expectations set by parents. They are normally the reason students are in college, so pleasing them by getting good grades is almost mandatory.
