Habitat for Humanity has recently entered into a year-long partnership with the Arab Gulf Program
for Development (AGFUND) to build sustainable and affordable housing across Nepal. Alongside
this, the initiative will help train nearly 200 people in disaster resilience while promoting low-cost
and locally available building materials.

Habitat for Humanity will be engaged in the majority of the work, although AGFUND has made
$100,000 available for the initiative. The non-profit has also sought support from local governments
to help complete the work and has gained a contribution of $500 per home for the program.
