Qualifications
I have worked in corrections for approximately 20 years, starting as an officer and promoting up from
corporal to Captain. I am a high achiever and always accomplish my goals I set for myself. I have
worked in many different areas in corrections, from Mental Health facilities to fire camps in the State
of Washington. Moving to Texas I obtained employment at Cornell Corrections which is now GEO
Group. During my tenure here I have received awards for Captain of Year twice and as an officer
twice, as Officer of the Month. I also have received letters of commendation for going TDY, showing
my dedication to accomplishing objectives and goals set by the company.

RelevantExperience
I have worked as acting Warden and acting Major many times for Geo and Cornell Corrections since
2004 when I promoted to Captain. I have worked with other departments to achieve our facilities
goals of ACA, CFM and working with the officers of the Bargaining Agreement. I have worked as a
supervisor in security for eleven years writing program policies and procedures, one on one
consultations with staff , training staff, writing proposals for new ideas, directing daily operations of a
secure facility, completing investigations on inmates and staff, progressive disciplinary of staff and
inmates. Overall the experience spans over a twenty year period and is too numerous to list it all.
OtherExperience
I have experience working with mentally ill inmates at the Special Offender Center in Washington
State. It is the first experience I received in Corrections. This type of inmate is very difficult to work
with, they are medicated at all times and it is a high facility. Each inmate had a base line behavior that
was documented daily.
