The intention of my resume is to give information of the learning experiences and
the opportunities earned as a nurse since the graduation in the year of 1973. It is
my belief and goal to be of service to uphold the highest standard of the nursing
professionand the optimal service delivery of the nursing profession. I want to be a
part of nursing that can have a great impact of care and influence the health of the
patients, families, and the community. My future plan for the next two to five
years, is to get an advance degree of Master in Nursing in Education/Nursing
Informatics concentrating mostly to teach the nursing students of the fundamental

 I have learned to market my nursing experiences in telemetry unit as a
temporary staff through the hospital needs in coordination with the
agency.
 Flexibility and versatility of time needed for staff placement to different
hospitals in Minnesota were satisfying and highly compensated job that I
enjoyed successfully. 90%-100% of the time I have been working in
adults Medical/Surgical Telemetry units.
 I have the skills of reading EKG monitoring and applied necessary
treatments accordingly for the interventions needed.

2.  I have learned to do assessment of the nursing diagnosis, the decision-
making, problem solving, discharged educational teachings, and
evaluation processes aspects ofnursing care.
 I have gained the trust of the physicians, colleagues, and team members
working for the care of the recovery of the patients under my care.
 I have learned and integrated my psychiatric nursing experiences through
use of the communication techniques dealing with the mentally ill
patients who needed Medical/Surgical Telemetry units.

This is the first nursing agency I was affiliated with and had the experiences to be
flexible and versatile in the Medical/Surgical telemetry step-down units nursing
care in Chicago, Illinois.

I had been off in Nursing circulation to pursue personal family business. I was
really hit by the unfortunate life major events. I was thankful for that and went
back to nursing again.
Madden Mental Health Center October1985-September1989
I have learned the experiences of caring for the adults who were mentally ill for
four years. Mostly, the job descriptions were to establish a nursing communication
therapeutic techniques, providing therapeutic environmental milieu, and medical
treatments by dispensing drugs of choice as per physician's orders and
implement/evaluate nursing care plan processes.I also learned to organize group
therapy sessions and therapeutic milieus approaches in the care plan as full time
staff nurse.

3. Louise Burg Hospital May 1982-October1985
 This is my first employment after I passed the Nursing Board
Examination in Chicago, Illinois. I had the experiences of working in
Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit for the adults for four years.
 I have learned the basic nursing care of patients in ICU through the
training program of the sister hospital in Olympia Fields Hospital, at the
southern part of Illinois in Olympia Fields.
 I have also learned how to be flexible working full time in the morning in
ICU and commute to Madden Mental Health Center as part timer in
Psychiatric Nursing. Eventually, working full time in favor of the ICU
nursing in 1985.

Skills
Nursing care of the adults with cardiac nursing diagnoses and with patients who
have mental illness. I have learned to use the communication therapeutic
techniques in all my nursing care interventions. I have the skill to read cardiac
telemetry monitoring and intervene as per protocolbecause I always have the
current ACLS/BLS certifications. I am skillful in formulating nursing care plans,
and care processes with proper decision-making, and critical thinking
interventions, and approaches for the recovery of the patients under my care. I am
an excellent team member by communicating and collaborating well to the team

4. focused on the patients' early and timely healing before going back to be effective
members of the community upon discharge to home because they met the desired
outcomes of the evaluation process.
