1. Individual Taste Often Dictates What Jewellery We Wear
It does not happen often that two people think or feel the same about situations or things. Individuals grow up

it is at all feasible, the jeweller will come up with the exact ring or other piece as a bespoke service, as a piece
of jewellery tailor made to their specifications. Because vintage and retro periods are often popular it follows
that many modern people will follow the trend of wearing vintage clothes, and even if they do not find that
type of clothing attractive, they may feel different about jewellery. Clients that want these rings, whether they
find the real thing or approach their jeweller, have many choices in terms of, say, engagement and wedding
rings, or rings that they simply wear because they love the look and feel of it.

to complement each other. Therefore they will most likely ask their jeweller to design and make rings that
belong together, not only in a specific style but also in the choice of metal, or stones such as a certain type of
diamond and whatever detail they want to be added.
Of course many couples will bounce ideas off each other, and maybe off friends and family too, but very
often they will talk to the jeweller of their choice to either give them some ideas or to work together with
them to come up with a special engagement or wedding ring. Leading jewellers today make use of great
technology, even computer software that can be used during the creation of the perfect ring according to the
client’s wishes. There are so many choices such as different settings, combining stones such as either smaller
or larger diamonds with other stones, or specific, unique designs. There are quite a number of vintage style
rings that one can request in the shape of one’s choice be that a pear shape, or a heart, or an oval ring – in fact,
a good designer and manufacturer will come up with what the client wants.
