Activities that promotes gender equality can
also be included in the syllabus. It will
inculcate values such as mutual respect for
all the gender among the young minds

to all the genders.
Care must be given while preparing
syllabus to ensure gender equality in
citing examples etc.There is trend seen
that most of the examples cited will be
have a male touch.

participation
Home assignment , projects, field activities
must be planned so as ensuring gender equality.
Care must be given for equal participation by
all the gender. It must be interesting for both

We are witnessing that the pictorial
representations of female will have a sexy touch
in the textbooks. And also, mostly when they show
a family the male figure will be reading a
newspaper or watching a television. While ,the
female figure will be cooking or doing house hold
works. This gives an impression on the gender role
in the young children. This kind of representations
can be avoided.
