Look around location I checked to see whether the location I would be
shooting in would be appropriate for the shots
planned.
Check positioning of lighting, items in room,
layout of room
I made sure that the models were in an area of
fairly high lighting to ensure they were seen
clearly 100% of the time. I also did not want
them shown in a particularly dark light, as this
would imply that the band were promoting a
heavy/rock genre, as oppose to a lighter, indie
rock genre.
Look for various shots and angles to cover I scanned over the types of shots I had planned
before, as well as the positioning and posture of
the models as well, before directing them into
the positions desired, to ensure that I matched
the shots originally planned.
Look over shots and evaluate them Once I had taken various different shots, to test
for things like lighting, positioning, angles etc. I
evaluated them, to see whether I would need to
change any of the shots , to make sure they were
of a good quality and whether the models were
to be seen clearly
