Provide assistance and friendship to 10 – 12 senior citizen residents twice per week.
Plan and organize the residence’s holiday events (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter). Also lead
birthday celebrations and prepare special birthday meals.

Manage a breakfast program to ensure local area students have a chance to start their day well. Solicit
businesses to provide monetary sponsorship, supply food, or supply volunteers to help prepare the
morning meals.
Organize special family events including the annual corn boil at the start of the school year.

Provided instructional support and helped with reading and creative writing skills with students in grades
5 to 10. Assisted the teachers, participated in discussions, and monitored student behaviours in the

Oversaw catering for large and small private events such as parties, weddings and funerals, serving a

Founded the Community Kitchens program designed to provide mealtime support to local lower-income
