Moslems throwing rocks at a Hindu religious
procession in Ahmedabad, killing seven people
and wounding 20. As many as 30,000 Hindus

stones at them from housetops, and the Hindus

Parade of the Chariot, was held in honor of Lord
Jugannath [the deity Krishna].
