1. <br />My name is Bailey Lomas, and I am an 8th grade student at Orangeville Junior High School. <br />I was recently interviewed and accepted to participate as a member of Team USA at The World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California this summer. The program promotes international understanding while building leadership skills among America’s youth. The 8-day experience includes meeting students my age from 68 different countries, workshops on self esteem, and educational activities. As well as competing in 7 different categories including Drama and Comedy Acting and Print Model.<br />Team USA Members are carefully interviewed and evaluated before their acceptance, and I am honored to have been selected. Personally, I am looking forward to broadening my perspectives of the world and gaining a better understanding of the Performing Arts. Upon my return, I plan to share my experience with schools and civic clubs in our community. As a Team USA member, I can also earn college scholarships because of the many educational elements in the program.<br />I am currently seeking financial sponsors to help me with tuition, and hope I can count on your support.
