Debra Kasirer is an experienced philanthropist and Jewish community leader in Los Angeles. As the daughter of European survivors of the Holocaust, she has devoted many years to promoting causes that strengthen and celebrate Jewish identity. In 2012, Debra Kasirer participated in the March of the Living, an annual program in which participants travel to Poland and Israel to study the history of the Holocaust and examine the forces of intolerance. Ms. Kasirer volunteers for and contributes to other Jewish organizations, such as Hillel at Penn and UCLA, Sinai Temple in Los Angeles, and the Ramah Camping Movement.
