Class Introduction – Management 4 Units
WRITING AND PRESENTING
A CREDIT ANALYSIS (X 430.614)
1
I have been in banking for 21 years with an extensive
experience in risk management, credit, and lending.
Currently, I am working for a commercial bank as its
Chief Risk Officer. My last job was the Head of a new
business unit called “Small- and Medium-Sized
Enterprises” for an international bank where I
enjoyed reviewing and approving credit requests for
all kinds of commercial loan transactions. Prior to
becoming a banker, I worked as a bank examiner for
the FDIC, and part of my job was to evaluate banks’
loan/credit decisions. I earned two MBAs: one from
Columbia University in NY and one from University Of
California in Berkeley. I also completed the graduate
banking school at University of Washington. I am a
board member of the Los Angeles chapter of the Risk
Management Association. I look forward to sharing
my experience, knowledge, and ideas and hope the
next 12 weeks will be an informative and enjoyable
journey for all participants.
