“Blue Ridge Sports & Entertainment creates, organizes,
markets, advertises, promotes and conducts on-site
management for sporting events while delivering national
and local sponsors and media coverage. Our event
success, strong financial track record, long-standing
relationships, and industry expertise are the result of the
staff's many years of combined experience” (Blue Ridge

4. Mission Statement Evaluation
The first thing I noticed is that the company does not
make it clear as to what the mission statement is. It is put
in the bottom corner of the home page and then again in
the about us section. They have the same thing stated on
two different pages.
One thing I would do to improve this is to put a subheading above the mission statement so that people know
what it is and what the company is aiming to do. Maybe
even have its own tab under about us.
I would mention something like it is our mission to provide
clients with the utmost opportunities to succeed, while
maintaining principles of integrity and hard work .

and host many of the same events as Blue Ridge Sports

Substitute products or services
The clients that hire Blue Ridge Sports could hire
someone to their team to take care of many of the events
that are put on. This does not pose a huge threat because
the experience and relationships Blue Ridge Sports has is
worth the money by clients.
8. Potential Entry of New
Competitors
The Sports marketing field is very large and many firms
are available across the country. However, many clients
want to hire a company that has many years experience
and it is very hard for a new company to start up in an
area that already has a sports marketing firm.

Blue Ridge Sports has a competitive edge over other
companies for the business of clients because of the
many years of experience, relationships & expertise of its
employees.
