Document 2 unit based exercises

  1. 1. GEOGRAPHY AND HISTORY DEPARTMENT Teacher: Maite Fresnillo Index Exercise 1: Constitutions (it will be done after seeing the characteristics of the 1931 Constitution) Exercise 2: Questions about the unit. Exercise 3: The square will be completed as we go developing the unit, in order to have a clear idea of the different periods of the Second Republic. Exercise 4: This is the most demanding but also the most important of the unit. If the square is well completed, students can have a very good summary of the unit. At the same time, the work with the different items can be helpful to make them think about the unit, revise the concepts studied and compare their ideas with their peers. Given the difficulty of the task, we will divide the class in three groups so that each of them will focus on the problems of one period. Then, they will share their decisions with other groups and finally we will correct it in the classroom, in order to assure that all of them have the right answers. We include the task as we present it, with the square, the list of problems and the instructions, and also the completed square. Online exercise: We have included a little revision exercise, as an example, in the following link: http://www.educaplay.com/es/recursoseducativos/1354645/second_republic.htm
