As of January, 2018, the commentary from the following article is still posted online. It is being included here in
the event that it should be removed in the future. It is unclear what was meant by the “Something big, secretive,
and destructive...” comment. However, the “missing” acreage being discussed could very well be related to both
the unaccounted for acreage in historic land grants and the still-unacknowledged industry-related northwestern
municipal relocations of the early 1900s.
