A title sequence is shown at the beginning of a film and introduces the main characters and production crew through graphics, images or video that relate to the plot. It is unique compared to end credits which just list text. The typical order of credits in a title sequence is financial company, production, director, main characters, casting director, and other roles. Titles can appear in many styles - some abstract, some giving subtle hints to the plot, or relating to the film's setting. Popular movies like Skyfall, Catch Me If You Can and The Fault in Our Stars employ unique title sequences.
2. WHAT IS A TITLE SEQUENCE?
A title sequence is the beginning of the film when they begin to show

unique compared to the credits were there is just text whereas the title
sequence has action or some sort of graphics with the names of most
important members of the film.

4. HOW TITLES APPEAR.
Titles can appear in many different ways each film has its own unique
twist to it, they can relate to their plotline or have nothing to do with it.
Many films with a dramatic influence on the audience tend not to give
away anything to do with the film in the sequence, it will normally be
quite an abstract point of view, with many things going on (Skyfall). Or
they could have an animated the beginning to give it a different feel to
the film. Where its giving a unique over look of where the film is based
and what it is based on (Catch Me If You Can). Or you can give subtle
hints to what is going to happen. Whether it is an important part or
something dramatic that is going to happen at the end (Cabin In The
Woods).
