What is Luddism/Neo-Luddism
 Luddism - The Luddites were 19th-century English textile workers who
protested newly developed labor-economizing technologies from 1811 to
1816.
 These machine-breaking disturbances that rocked the wool and cotton
industries were known as the 'Luddite riots‘.
 Neo-Luddism - can be described as modern philosophy that is fearing of
the changes that will be brought about by technological advances.
Why Neo Luddism?
 They fear job cuts.
 Tech. Advances control rather than facilitate
 Nursing may be done by robots, delivery men replaced by drones.
