1. " Mind Over Matter"
Getting Rid Of Toxic Thoughts
Repressed emotions can affect our mental energy and hope, which in turn
can lead to health problems, such as high blood pressure or digestive
disorders. With that being said, it is extremely important to recognize the impact
that our emotions have on others, our bodies and even our relationships.
As we increase our awareness, it becomes easier to recognize our emotional
triggers, feelings and attitudes towards our experiences, which will allow us to
adjust our thoughts and responses.
Rethinking your comfort foods is a great way to fight off emotional stress.
When stressful events occur, it causes our cortisol levels to rise, which causes
food cravings. In women, those cravings tend to be strongest for carbs, especially
sweet foods. The more sweets we consume, the worse our mood gets and if that
isn’t bad enough, our cortisol levels trigger an enzyme in our visceral fat cells
which causes many women to accumulate more belly fat…BIG NO NO!
So, when we say, “rethink your comfort foods”, we mean meals and snacks
that will soothe and calm you so you’ll have the ability to conquer anything.
Asparagus is high in folate, which is essential for keeping your cool. You can
have them steamed, added to salads or broiled until crisp…go ahead, eat as
many as you’d like.
2. Avocados aren’t solely known for being creamy fruits, but for being stress-proof
as well. They are rich in glutathione, which is a substance that specifically blocks
intestinal absorption of certain fats that cause oxidative damage. They also
contain, lutein, beta-carotene, vitamin E, plenty of B vitamins and more folate
than any other fruit. It can also be considered a fat, so be sure to use
portion control!
You can’t go wrong with the crunchy, salty, deliciousness of cashews. They are
especially rich zinc, which is known to help with anxiety and depression. Our
bodies have no way of storing zinc, so it’s very important that you get some
everyday. Make cashews your go-to snack when you’re in the mood.
Green tea contains caffeine, but also has an amino acid called theanine.
Researchers say that in addition to protecting against cancers, this tea is a brain
booster as well, enhancing your mental performance.
If you are interested in taking the fitness route, aerobic exercises including
jogging, swimming, cycling, walking, gardening and even dancing has
been proved to help reduce anxiety, depression and boost your mood.
But wait, SPT has one more option for you!

Rigoton II Titulus
3. It contains the Simplicifolia of Griffonia, a native bush from Africa, that through the

neurotransmitters. Serotonin has a set of functions in the body, including the regulation of mood,
appetite, sleep, and muscular contractions. It improves your health, mood and levels of energy and it
can even be used to help in depression symptoms.

"MENS HEALTH"
Foods For a Healthy Prostate
Did you know that fifty percent of men over the age of 60 suffer from an enlarged
prostate?
Luckily, there is a diet that is rich in vitamins and minerals that can keep your
prostate healthy and lower the risk of acquiring an enlarged prostate. Making
healthy and nutritious food choices is the best way to lower both your weight and
your risk.
Sesame Seeds are known to be rich in zinc, which is a mineral that is essential
to the health of the prostate. Men that have either prostate cancer or BHP
(benign prostatic hyperplasia) have lower levels of zinc in their bodies.
Zinc that is found in foods is easier to absorb than zinc supplements. Snacking
on sesame seeds as well as oysters, adzuki beans, pumpkin seeds and
almonds will help increase zinc levels.
Salmon as mentioned in previous posts, is extremely rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
These fatty acids are healthy fats that protect you from cardiovascular disease,
cancer, and rheumatoid arthritis. They also aid in the synthesis of prostaglandin.
5. According to a study published in the Alternative Medicine Review, fatty acids
deficiency may lead to prostate problems. Walnuts, ground flax seeds,
canola oil and kidney beans are just a few alternatives that can give you your
omega-3s, if you are not a fan of fish.
Asian men are known for consuming more soy products, which in turn gives
them a lesser risk of developing BPH than men from other nationalities. Soybean
isoflavones have been linked to a lower risk for an enlarged prostate, according to
a study published in The Prostate. Consuming more soy could possibly reduce the
risk of developing prostate cancer as well. For other sources of soy you could look
into low-fat soymilk, tempeh, roasted soybeans, soy yogurt, and meat
substitutes made with soy.
Bell peppers contain more Vitamin C than any other vegetable. Vitamin C is
also an antioxidant that might play a role in fighting off BPH. Consuming one cup
of raw bell peppers contain 195 percent of the daily recommended intake of
Vitamin C. Other veggies such as broccoli, cauliflower, kale and Brussels
sprouts are also great sources of Vitamin C.
Tomatoes and tomato products are the best sources of lycopene, which is the
bright carotenoid that gives tomatoes its color. With the consumption of lycopene,
there may be a lower risk of developing prostate cancer and blood levels of
antigen, a protein associated with prostate inflammation and BPH.
You can also get this protein from watermelon, apricots, prink grapefruit,
and papaya…YUM!
Lastly, avocadoes are extremely rich in beta-sitosterol, which is a plant sterol.
Beta-sitosterol can help reduce the symptoms associated with BPH. It can also
help strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation and pain as well.
Pumpkin seeds, wheat germ, soybeans and pecans are among other foods rich in
beta-sitosterol.
We know that was a lot to process, so if you’re looking for a much simpler option,
SPT has your back!

“Having a Healthy Sex Life”
Reasons Why It Goes Bad and Tips to Help Build Stamina and
Romance
sptwellness:
Your sexual well being goes hand in hand with your overall mental, physical and
emotional health. Therefore, the same exact habits you incorporate for a healthy
body can also help shape up your sex life.
Physical activity is the most important healthy behavior that can improve your
sexual functioning. Sexual arousal is dependent upon good blood flow, which
means that aerobic exercise is essential. Exercising also offers an array of other
health benefits, from eliminating heart disease, osteoporosis and even some
forms of cancer. Also, don’t forget to include strength training.
Over consumption of fatty foods leads to high blood cholesterol and obesity, both
are extreme risk factors for cardiovascular disease. In addition, this can result in
becoming overweight and can promote a poor body image. Increased libido is
often an added benefit of losing some extra pounds. Eating a health, balanced
diet can also increase your stamina!
Smoking contributes to peripheral vascular disease, which in turn affects the
blood flow to both the male and female sexual parts. Women who smoke tend to
go through menopause two years earlier than those nonsmoking women. So
again…DO NOT SMOKE!
8. Consuming alcohol in moderation can also aid in a healthy sex life. Drinking
large amounts of alcohol can curb sexual reflexes by dulling the sexual nervous
system. It can also damage the liver, leading to an increase in estrogen in men.
For women, alcohol can trigger hot flashes and disrupt sleep.
If you are still unsatisfied with your sex life, SPT has another option to help you
rekindle that spark.
Rigoton

9. effect helps to promote blood flow by producing better erections and low levels of
artery pressure.
The mucuna pruriens is a vegetable that can be usually found in Africa. Its leaves

"Its Getting Hot"
The Do's & Don’ts of Menopause.
I’m sure you’ve all heard of the expression “you are what you eat”. Well, in the
case of menopause, your nutritional choices can relieve some of your menopausal
symptoms, while giving you a quick and much needed boost of energy.
Eating a diet that consists of at least five servings of high-fiber fruits and
veggies a day and lean proteins like chicken, fish and soy foods can
certainly help with your symptoms.
These foods typically suppress your hunger and steady blood sugar levels so that
your mood and energy levels do not fluctuate as much.
According to Medical Doctor, Mary Jane Minkin, “soy is a weak estrogen; adding
some to your diet can help fight hot flashes.” Drinking 1-2 cups of soymilk or a
cup of edamame (steamed soybeans in the pod) is highly recommended.
Try your best to eliminate sugar from your diet as well as sugary candies.
High-sugar foods can raise your blood sugar quickly, which causes the pancreas
to produce more insulin. During menopause, your hormones encourage the
conversion of calories to fat when you’re already coping with weight gain from the
loss of estrogen. So in that case… SKIP THE SUGAR!
11. Stay away from salty and processed foods as well. The hormonal changes that
occur during menopause can trigger salt sensitivity, which can lead to high blood
pressure. Eating fresh foods instead of salty, processed foods are a much
healthier option. Consider taking the saltshaker off the table too!
If hot flashes and night sweats leave you feeling sleepless, the consumption of
alcohol and caffeine will only make it worse. Both are dehydrating stimulants
that can bring about these episodes. Red wine in particular, is a major hot flash
trigger. Instead drink lots of water to keep yourself well hydrated.
Lastly, wild yams are often considered a “natural alternative” to estrogen
therapy. It is used for estrogen replacement therapy, PMS, menstrual cramps,
weak bones, increasing energy in both men and women, and breast enlargement.
Most importantly, some women apply wild yam creams to their skin to reduce
menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes!
SPT has just one more suggestion for you!
Feminine Revitalizer
This supplement strengthens the female reproductive organs; it reduces
menopause symptoms such as vaginal dryness, hot flashes and irritability.
In pre-menopausal women it helps to regulate the menstrual cycle.
In general, it increases vitality through phytoestrogens in its components
that act as a natural hormonal treatment.
Suggested Use: 2 in the morning - 2 in the afternoon
