Pattaya, a small fishermen’s village in the 1960s has evolved
into a tourist magnet in the Asia; thanks to its beautiful
crescent shape beach.
Pattaya is a 3-star beach with all amenities and activities
available at a beautiful beach.
However, it never managed to attain a 5-star due to the lack
of investment in waste management though the city heavily
invested into infrastructure development. Therefore, we took
the initiative to conduct a survey on waste management as
responsible citizens and public health workers at Pattaya to
understand what are the causative agent behind the
pollution of the beach.
