It is a form of walking, exploring and enjoying the
scenery.
It usually takes place on trails in areas of
relatively unspoiled wilderness.

day and multiday trekking and hiking routes
in Zailisky Alatau area.
A uniqueness of North Tian Shan is in its
diversity: any climatic zone of the region can be
found here in a very short distance: steppes and
glaciers, clement climate of leaf wood and severe
cold of snow peaks. A Fauna of Zailisky Alatau is
also multifarious. Lucky trekkers meet “eliks” –
small goats, “maral”-deers, foxes and badgers in a
forest zone. And even snow leopard sometimes
appears in mountain rocky labyrinths.
