Subject: Recommendation Letter for Mr. Ashraf Ramadan
To Whom It May Concern
Mr. Ashraf Ramadan worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University
from September 2014 until February 2015, teaching 2 sections of the core course “Introduction to
IT” to Bachelor degree learners.
He demonstrated excellent knowledge of the subject matter and provided the learners with well-
prepared lectures and very interesting supporting material. He learned to navigate the University’s
platform (the Smart Campus) and make excellent use of all its features in no time at all. Moreover,
his course pages on the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) were exemplary.
Apart from this, he responded to all learners promptly and positively, and was very courteous in all
his dealings with them. He gave the learners fair grades and detailed feedback in a timely fashion.
Hence, his evaluation by the learners was very high, with a general satisfaction rate exceeding 90%.
Overall, I was quite impressed by Mr. Ashraf’s professionalism and conscientiousness, and find
him a valuable addition to the HBMSU Associates pool. Alas, I was unable to offer him a full-time
job, because of the University’s policy in depending more on Associates than on full-time Faculty. I
strongly recommend Mr. Ashraf for any full-time or part-time academic job.
