Camera Terminology

1. Camera Example Why might it be used?
Angles- high, low and canted Gives different types of height
for the image you want to
take.
Movement- mechanical, tilt,
pan, ect.
Capture movement within one
photo.
Composition- deep and
shallow focus, rule of third,
ect.
So the camera is more focused
on one thing than the
surroundings.
Camera- close up, long shot,
aerial shot, establishing shot
ect.
Allows us to see the different
perspectives of the setting and
situation, which can have a
meaning.
