1. For my media product I had to use two types of technology. Number one would be the cameras.
Number two would be the I Macs. From using these technologies I realised how advance and
effective they were to use. The camera was much more user friendly then the computers because I
didn’t have any technical problems with it. But with the Macs my work deleted itself three times so I
had to keep remaking. This was a lot of hassle and used up a lot of time. The software I used was
Photoshop, final cut and live type. Live type was the simplest out of the three but also the easiest to
make mistakes. With Photoshop I had trouble but I had experience from previous work and I also
spent the least amount of time using it. Final Cut was the worst out of the three. This is because I
had no experience using it and had to mostly be self-taught or taught through the internet. A
previous media student Connor filled in the blanks. I had no idea so much work was put into making
a film and I was surprised with the results. I feel that my technical skills became quite proficient at
the end of my piece. There are a few shots I am very proud of the key ones being from the first and
start of the second scene. As I felt they did a great job at building natural suspense and worked in
sync with the rest of the sequence. Occasionally I found that there were things I couldn’t do such as
adjusting lighting, altering the sound and small special effects. But I am happy with my final piece.
