2. INTRODUCTION
Mathematics has value of wider practical application in
every daily activities .
Mathematics is the basis for all Science and helps
understanding all branches of science.
Mathematics gives workable symbolism for the brief and
precise expression of concept laws, Principles formula of all
Sciences.
Mathematics in the gateway and key to all Sciences….Becon.
We need the knowledge if mathematics in our every walk if
life.
All our daily Routine, Measures, and Calculation depending
in it.
Before sleeping and after awakening we must need of
Mathematics, when we go to sleep. When I will start to work,
how much eat.
3. Role of Mathematics in Daily life
Every day basic process like Measurement, Counting,
Calculation areas… based on fundamental operations of
Mathematics.
In all activities of day i.e. Marketing, Purchasing, Banking,
Arranging function, Construction of Building… depends on
maths.
To create system in life, we have to follow Diet, Fix
timings, Prices, Wages commission, Discount, with
mathematics.
Infact art of economic living, power, expression, will
power depends on mathematics.
This will help us understand the importance of maths in
daily life.
It summarizes some real life examples with Activities.
4. Some Real – Life Examples with Activities
1. MANAGING TIME:-
Keeping a track oof times is very important to do all you love to do.
2. BUDGETING:-
Managing money,understanding discounts, and buying for the best
price.
Example: Fix pocket money for your kids and guide them to manage it in a
proper ways
5. 3. SPORTS:-
Score, Time, Strategizing to win.
4. COOKING:-
Measuring the ingredients to add to a Recipe, Kitchen inventory planning.
5. STITCHING:-
Measurements to stitch a dress.
6. 6. EXERCISING AND DIETING:-
Workout schedule, Count the number of repetitions while
exercising.
7. DRIVING :-
Distance traveled, the shortest route to take to reach a
destination.
7. 8. HOME DECORATING:-
Helps the kids to measure their study table
9. CRITICAL THINKING:-
Technically critical thinking is not even maths as there are no number involved.
But knowledge of Math surely increases the ability to think critically.
Ex:- Solve a puzzle

Mathematics is a tool in our hands to make
our life smoother. The more mathematical we
are in our approach, the more rational would
be our thoughts. It’s time to understand the
importance of the subject and enjoy the beauty
of it. Math is medium that should be embraced
by everyone in all our walks of life.
