Ensured the combat readiness of all communications, radar and navigation systems as the senior Electronics Systems
Supervisor.
Developed and presented division training, including electronic theory, tag outs, aloft safety, wave propagation
principles, equipment specific topics, test equipment operation, safety precautions, and general military
knowledge.
Qualified personnel in their Work Centers on shipboard Fall-Safety and Working Aloft safety requirements.
Troubleshot equipment, including AN/WSC-6(V)7 SHF, AN/USC-38 EHF, AN/WSC-3(V), AN/SPS-49, and
WRN-6 systems utilizing technical publications, equipment schematics, and detailed equipment alignment
procedures to isolate faults and perform corrective procedures.
Tested equipment using oscilloscopes, function generators, analog/digital multimeters, power meters, spectrum
analyzers, frequency counters, Time-Domain-Reflectometers, RMS voltmeters, and signal and pulse generators.

seven line of sight radios and four satellite communications radios.
Maintained a repair and maintenance inventory while managing a quarterly repair parts budget worth between
$100k and $250K with zero loss of inventory over a fourteen month period.
Coordinated all satellite communications equipment maintenance and casualty control as the senior AN/WSC-
6(v)7 SHF and AN/WSC-3(v) UHF technician to achieve minimal downtime during an eight-month deployment
to the Middle East onboard USS Gunston Hall.
