Responsibilities
• Hired as a consultant to hire a new accounting department and insource the billing of Frank Russell Real
Time Market Data
• Hired a new staff of 3 accountants and a Controller for a new accounting department.
• Act as mentor to the new accounting staff.
• Traveled to Seattle to assist in their training of accounting proceedures at Frank Russell Company which
was purchased by LSEG.
• Successfully insourced the billing of Russell Real Time Market Data from the NYSE.
• Assisted with the separation of the Frank Russell Investments accounting systems to the LSEG platform.
This entailed performing the UAT and making sure all controls were in place.
Senior Director-General Accounting
NYSE Euronext - New York, NY - 2007 to 2015
Manage a staff of 5 professional accountants.
• Responsible for closing the books monthly for all 40 entities in the US. Review and post journal entries,
maintain all subledger interfaces into the General Ledger, variance analysis for the P&L review meetings held
with senior management, review account analysis and bank reconciliations.
• Manage the Oracle General Ledger system. Includes maintaining company, cost center, and GL account
structure. Lead person on the accounting side for all oracle system upgrades.
• Played a key role in the design and roll-out of the Global Chart of Accounts based upon firm wide Financial,
Regulatory, and Management reporting requirements.
• Responsible for the financial integration of various merger related initiatives including the NYSE purchase of
the ARCA, SIAC, American Stock Exchange, Euronext, Wombat, and NYFIX.
• Led the implementation of process improvements and operational efficiencies resulting in streamlining the
monthly close from 8 days to 6 days, and reducing the accounting staff from seven to five employees.
• Coordinate the reviews by both internal and external auditors. Review SOX controls and signoffs.
Senior Business Unit Controller-Financial Planning & Analysis
Trading Floor and Security - 2000 to 2007
Managed planning and analysis for all NYSE support functions including HR, Office of the General Counsel,
Facilities, Trading Floor and Security. Accomplishments include:
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting compensation and benefits across the US organization for approx.
1,670 employees with a budget of approx. $170.0M..
• Reported headcount monthly to senior management.

financial management support for all aspects within each unit, including management reporting to assist in the
decision-making process and cost reduction initiatives.
