Belief Paradigm Method™ by Anne Pryor, M.A. START - answer the following questions, in this model - Center of the flower: "My 3-word brand is __________________?" i.e. Connection Worker, Master Connector, On-the-Spot Trouble-Shooter, Advocate for the Under served, Small Business Problem Solver... Petal 1: "It's just in me to want to be ______________________." i.e. first, best, most innovative, most courageous Petal 2: "I do it by _____________________________________." i.e. being most knowledgeable, speaking up first, being most positive, creating most unique solutions Petal 3: "I do this for ____________________________________." i.e. individuals, enterprises, systems, under served, children, C-suite executives... Petal 4: "The results must be _____________________________." i.e. immediate, actionable, practical, short-term, long-term, sustainable... Petal 5: "When complete, I feel ___________________________. I reward myself by __________________". i.e. joyful, free, love, happy, content, significant, confident... reward by taking a trip, buying a new X, celebrating with the team, going out to dinner... (FYI, almost none of my 250 clients that I've tried this on rewards themselves!) NEXT - identify your Core Beliefs, Top 10 Skills and 7 areas of Subject Matter Expertise. Your Core Belief. I believe that _________________________________________. i.e. We are all connected and are here to do good. List your top 5-10 SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE (SME) areas. I like to start with my college days or early career subject matter expertise. I ask clients “what do people often seek you out for? This informs the subject matter expertise. The last SME should be “what do you want people to come to you for?” This is the aspirational role. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. FINALLY - each decision that I make I run through this model. If it doesn't fit/feel right, I don’t do it.
