Situations where mentors may require support, and who could
provide this

4. How will I gain this qualification?
You will follow an online course with activities, quizzes and
slides to help you gain an awareness of the topics.
You will then complete assessments to check you learning
and complete the workbook attached at the end to show
what you have learnt.
This will be sent to an assessor who will check it and give
you supportive feedback.
5. Progression
From this qualification – if your tutor feels you
are suitable, you could then progress to the
Level 2 Mentoring qualification currently
planned as a course delivered within your
community
