JLP is one of Europe’s largest retail chains. This project comprised of the entire
hierarchy inside the organization. The project is going to help users i.e Power users as
well as Business Users to analyze data related to the financing of their respective
departments. It uses Business Objects Data Integrator(BO DI) as the ETL tool,
Business Objects Universe, WebI, DeskI as the reporting/ananlysis tool and Infoburst
2.6 as the Bursting/Scheduling tool. The entire security has been implemented using
Central Management Console. The CMC along with Universe Designer implements the
object level,folder level as well as the row level security.
Responsibilities
 Gained Knowledge about the proposed Reporting/Security/Scheduling set up
directly from the Client(JLP) at their place in London,UK..
 One of the 5 people responsible for setting up the entire BO architecture on
client side and developing the team.
 Involved in Designing the Universe based on Rapid Mart as a data source. Rapid
Mart is fed with data using Business Objects Data Integrator.
 Primarily used Contexts, Aggregate Awareness, Derived Tables to design this
Universe. Also used the feature of Linking universes.
 Subsequently on completion of the Universe, will be involved in designing and
developing complex WEBI/DeskI reports with new members from Zensar Team.
Going to lead the Business Objects/DW team from off-shore. Most of these

5.  Have also designed the Security Model as required during the tenure of the
Project. This was agreed upon during my time at Client Side and has been
developed using Central Management Console(CMC).
 Involved with members from Client Side in designing the Scheduling
Architecture. Reports are being scheduled according to Business Requirements
and bursted based on specific filters/parameters on reports using a third party
tool known as Infoburst 2.6 whose data sits inside a SQL Server 2005 DB.
