1. Our Strategy
At Creekside, there are 4 main things we want
everyone to do as we pursue our mission
together:
Gather
Gather together on Sundays to worship God and
hear Gospel-Centered teaching. Sundays are a
place to explore your faith and hear what the
Bible says about God, ourselves, and the world.
Grow
Grow together in a LifeGroup. This is a natural
next-step if you’ve been gathering on Sunday’s
with us. LifeGroups are the primary place we
grow at Creekside. We design them to be action-
oriented, leading us to real life transformation.
Learning how to live the Christian life is done
best in community with others.
Serve
Serve together on a ministry team. There are so
many opportunities to serve in a volunteer role
at Creekside. We want to provide a place to
utilize your gifts and talents to forward the
mission of God and of Creekside. Whether it’s in
our Guest Connections, Worship Team, or Kids
Ministry, there’s always a place to serve.
Go
Go into the community and world on mission.
We provide many opportunities to go and be on
mission at Creekside. Whether it’s a movie night
or VBS in a local neighborhood, or a trip across
the world, we want you to be involved in going
to share the Gospel in real, tangible ways.
A Word From Our Pastor
I hope you’ll consider being a part of what God
is doing through Creekside in Katy, TX. We are a
group of imperfect people living on mission for
the glory of God. Every one of us is on a journey
of faith. I invite you to join us as we Gather,
Grow, Serve, and Go to fulfill our mission: to
glorify God by making fully-formed disciples
who make disciples of all nations.

2. Who We Are
Our Mission
Creekside exists to Glorify God by making fully-
formed disciples who make disciples of all
nations. We want to become a place where
diverse people from all walks of life unite under
the banner of Jesus Christ.
Our Values
Gospel Centrality
It all begins and ends with Jesus. The Gospel
permeates all that we are and do.
Life Transformation
We desire to drive ourselves toward action and
application of the truths we teach.
Diversity and Unity
We are committed to become a diverse group of
people united under the banner of Jesus Christ.
Grace-Filled Community
We want everyone to feel welcome at Creekside.
Our LifeGroups are a place of hospitality and
grace…a place to grow into a fully-formed
disciple.
Missional Living
Jesus has told us to “Go.” We equip our people for
everyday mission in the natural rhythms of their
family, home, workplace, and neighborhoods.
Courageous Stewardship
We are a church who is relentless in asking, “Are
we being good stewards of our money, time, and
people?”
Ministry Teams
There are a variety of places to volunteer at
Creekside. Kid’s Ministry and Guest Services are
great places to start. Whether you have musical
talent and want to sing or play in the worship
band, are outgoing and want to be a greeter or
usher, or you have a heart for youth, we have a
place for you to plug in and serve.
Serving Our Community
At Creekside, we value serving our community in
tangible ways. That’s why you’ll always find a
way to serve others. We have regular Community
Impacts where we collect items for partner
ministries in the area. We participate in mission
trips across the world, across the state, or simply
across the street. We actively give away a
significant portion of our income to other church
starts, missionaries, and non-profits who are
serving those in need.
Want To Learn More?
The best way to find out more about Creekside is
to attend FIRST CONNECTION. This is a
regularly scheduled event where we invite those
new to Creekside to meet the Pastors and learn
more about our church. You can RSVP for FIRST
CONNECTION at the Info Table, or online at
thecreekside.org/firstconnection.
Kids Ministries
Creekside values the family unit and believes the
church should partner with parents in teaching
children about the things of God. Every Sunday
we allow the whole family to participate in the
main service worship experience. After the
music, kids (K-5th) will leave to their own time of
age appropriate teachings and activities.
On the 5th Sunday of the month, we have Family
Sunday when all kids and youth remain with
their parents in the entire church service.
Childcare during the service is always available
for children Birth - Pre-School age.
LifeGroups
LifeGroups are small groups of adults that meet
weekly in homes for fellowship, prayer, and to
study the Bible together. We have Spring,
Summer, and Fall LifeGroups that meet for about
10 weeks followed by a month break. Our topics
range from books of the Bible, to sermon series, to
Christian living, and more! Childcare is normally
available.
